DredgeMate® improves your operation
DredgeMate® is a range of instrumentation, visualization and registration
systems specially suited for dredging operations using any kind of dredger.
DredgeMate® can be supplied as a relatively simple basic system but can
easily be expanded to tackle more demanding dredging control and monitoring
tasks. DredgeMate® systems are configurable not only to fit any dredger
configuration but also to meet client specific functional requirements. The
systems are based on standard modules and sensors which are configured in a
client specific setting. DredgeMate® functions effectively as a stand-alone
system but is well prepared for integration with other systems. The
DredgeMate® software is written in C++ using
modern software engineering methodologies to provide fast 3-D, real-time
representation, with full integration of the essential survey and dredging
data in one package. The system visualizes key information allowing the
operator to maximize efficiency. The operator can define his own preferred
screen layout by selecting and resizing view-windows, using the ergonomical
Man Machine Interface. With this system, the operator has real-time and
precise information regarding the position of the equipment and the progress
of the work. System functions include the ability to import both survey
terrain data and desired dredge profile (both in 3D), as well as 2D charts
and other line information. The system relates survey and dredge profiles to
work done and offers the Dredge Master reliable, continuous monitoring of
the remaining area to be dredged. DredgeMate® can be scaled to meet the
user’s exact needs.
