Meet the Family
DipMate® The DipMate®2 system is a member of the DredgeMate family of
systems, specially suited for dipper dredges. This automated visualisation
and registration system displays the entire dredging process in real-time
and provides for higher production and greater precision when backhoe
dredging in shallow waters.
In its basic setting, the package is complete to fit basic dipper dredger
operations; the industrial computer, with 3-D visualization engine, is
linked to angle sensors for boom, stick, bucket, slew and twin inclinometers
for x/y tilt. The range of optional data links available includes gyro, DGPS
and tide. This system is marketed successfully since 2000, and has proven
itself on dipper dredgers worldwide. DipMate®2 can be supplied as a
relatively simple basic system but can easily be expanded to tackle more
demanding dredging control and monitoring tasks.
The DipMate® product is a proven system, appreciated by the operators, and
due to its flexibility and functionality it is a tool for every days use.
Other family membersThe DredgeMate® family of systems consists of many
members, each suited for a particular task. HopperMate and CutterMate are
versions of the system that are used on – no surprise – hopper dredgers and
cutter dredgers. Each of these systems benefit from the same rugged, high
quality sensors and industrial quality computer systems, and are based on
the same, state of the art software package. However, there are more
members.
A special version of DredgeMate® called DrillMate was developed to client
specifications to provide visualisation and registration of the process on a
drill barge. In fact the family may grow further every day because the
system’s hardware and software have both been designed for flexibility. No
matter what application you may have, DredgeMate® can cost effectively be
tailored to provide you with accurate, real time visualisation and
